Ann Coulter is a caustic, wannabe comedienne, who tends to resort to silly ad hominem attacks to make her points.

Stephanie Ramage is a thoughtful, highly analytical political reporter and editorialist who you disagree with politically.

Actually, what you have written here more resembles Coulter in style than the excerpts of Ramage you have included.

Also, as an occasional reader of both papers, I think it would be unfair to suggest that TSP leans any further right than CL leans left. They both have their perspectives and complement each other well.

Eric Rudolph is not a terrorist, but an anti-terrorist fighter. Those who have killed babykilling abortionists have done so to protect the innocent. People use force everyday to protect the innocent and no one has a problem with it, except when it comes to protecting unborn human beings, then they go ballistic. It’s very simple, the unborn deserve the same protection as the born. Born people are protected with force quite often. Force that you would be glad if it was to protect your children against a murderer. Force that you yourself might use to protect your own children from being murdered. I thought we were to leave her family alone… So she shouldnt mention her son going to Iraq a dozen times in her speech, too. Especially shouldnt mention him with his unit, where they are being deployed to in Iraq and when they will get there. But that’s just me…
